The Founder
I love helping companies of any size find their way. I’m curious by nature, and love to learn. Whether it’s by studying customers and their buyer journey, honing product or company messaging, curating a solid marketing plan designed to achieve growth, or building great content, I get a kick out of seeing marketing work.
That’s why I like being a fractional marketing leader and consultant. I get to see marketing work in different companies all the time. Every day, I get to meet interesting people, learn about unique solutions, and help clients achieve their strategic goals.
After serving several corporations, I moved to Colorado and started working with a young company that needed someone with a higher level of expertise. Given their start-up phase, they could only contract for 20 hours a week. I saw the focus and value I could bring in this capacity and founded Upstream Marketing. This experience fueled my passion to help companies skill up through fractional marketing services.
Since then, Upstream Marketing has helped build commercialization strategies for companies of every level of maturity, from seed money to VC/PE-backed, and with a wide variety of sizes, from 10 people to 27,000.
The Upstream Marketing Team
The team is made up of other fractional marketers who have lots of great corporate experience and are now independent. Upstream Marketing provides access to a great team of content writers, graphic designers, website managers, SEO experts, campaign managers, PR experts, market researchers, marketing automation managers, and more.
We’ve managed tradeshow strategy and the accompanying sales force enablement for companies with more than 30+ events per year. We can also help with printing, promo items, tradeshow management, and booth design.
